Artisan has PM's backing, but can't get bank loan

A young carpenter from Kanpur has spoken his mind that only confirmed big money gobblers can get ready bank loans in the country than celebrated artisans like himself. Young Sandeep Soni from Kanpur can write on wood. He chiseled the whole of the Gita on wood and presented the woodwork to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who assured the artisan that he would get him a bank loan to do more such wonders. The Prime Minister's `Man ki baath' is hardly legal tender in banks that refused a loan to him. The Prime Minister tweeted: `Sandeep Soni presented me a copy of the Gita, carved on wood. I thank him for the kind gesture.' Normally the acknowledgment should get a bank loan for the artisan, who would not be demanding high loans that are readily given to money gobblers. Modi had promised a loan under the Prime Minister Employment Generation Programme for a factory proposed by Sandeep. He is a making rounds of the banks, but banks feel they have no obligation to oblige him. An exasperated Sandeep commented, `When the Prime Minister had recommended I haven't got a bank loan, how can the common man ever get loans?'
