Kejriwal admits charge against Jaitley just street talk
Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Tuesday tried to defend himself in the Rs 10 Cr damage suit filed against him and his party leaders by Finance Minister Arun Jaitley, saying he had said what the other people were saying on the Delhi Cricket Board funds. He had just uttered what was open secret in society. He said nothing new or made a comment. Kejriwal responded thus through his lawyer following a notice by the High Court. The damage suit has implications in the sense that Kejriwal had alleged that Delhi Cricket Board's files in his office were sought to be looked into by the CBI officials on the pretext of probe into corruption charges against his principal secretary Rajendra Kumar a few months ago. The Principal Secretary was sent to 3-day CBI remand on Monday.
