AP Survey to bring up weaker sections launched

The Socio-Economic Empowerment Survey was inaugurated in Andhra Pradesh by Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu in Vijayawada on Friday. Starting the survey, the Chief Minister said the historical survey was aimed at learning the personal details of the people. This is a novel programme. It would culminate in the empowerment of the people. The survey would back up all social welfare programmes. The outcome of the survey would entitle people to get benefits directly. The social inequities would be set right. With full details being acquired, the welfare programmes could be chalked out accordingly. All regions and all castes would stand to benefit by the survey. After all the details are in place, a grand plan would be made to benefit all sections of society. One of the aims was to bring up the oppressed people. The social and economic inequities could be tabulated. After the survey, plans would be made to bring up the economically weaker sections. The first part of the survey would end on July 31. The people were expected to keep their documentation details such as Aadhar Card ready at the time of arrival of the enumerators.
