Telangana to fill up 2000 Medical Department posts
The Telangana Government will soon fill up 2000 vacant posts in the Health sector to provide better medidcal services to the people, according to Health Minister Dr C Lakshma Reddy. He made a surprise visit to the district hospital at Sanga Reddy on Wednesday and inspected various wards and the facilities and services available. The Minister acknowledged that the staff shortage is hampering the interests of the patients who are coming in large numbers. The Government would set up the Dialysis and Cancer departments in the hospital without any delay and construct a building, he said. He also said that there is shortage of staff and they would fill up the posts. Interacting with some of the patients at the hospital, the minister sought to know from them about the services being offered and facilities available. The Minister asked the medical and health officials to improve services to the patients.
