Pay land for land house for house as compensation: Nagam

Prefacing his statement saying he was not opposed to Irrigation projects, BJP leader Nagam Janardhan Reddy on Monday said the Mallannasagar oustees should be paid compensation under the provisions of the Land Acquisition Act, 2013. The compensation should be land for land and house for house. He appealed to the government not to fool the people by saying that the compensation would be more under the GO 123 than under the Act. Talking to the media, Nagam said his prupose was only to show the lacunae in the projects, and not the projects as such.
