Snehalata & Saradavani top TET papers
Medak's Snehalata topped the Teachers Eligibility Test Paper 1 with 134 marks and Saradavani with 126 marks in Paper II. In Paper II Social, T. Haribabu with 122 marks topped the list. In the Telangana TET results declared on Friday by Education Secretary Kishan, 54.4% teaher aspirants were successful and 25.04% in Paper II. As usual girls have made their mark in the teahers competitive exam. The TET exam has two parts. The candidates who intend to teach from class 1 to 5 write the paper 1 and those wanting to be teachers for Class VI to VIII write the paper II. Those willing to be teachers from class 1 to VIII write both the papers. Some 200,000 aspirants sat for the TET on May 1.
