Bothsa puts 10 questions to TDP Govt, demanding answers

Former Minister and now YCP leader Bothsa Satyanarayana on Wednesday posed ten questions to Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu, demanding answers. Here are the questions. 1. You promised to waive off farm loans. Are all the farmers' loans waived off? Have you offered any loans to farmers after coming to power? While the loans to be waived off amounted to Rs 87,612 crore, not even Rs 9000 crore has been allocated in the budgets under the head. Is it not true that the penal interest for the farmers who paid the loans on their own amounted to Rs 30,000 crore? 2. You said you would waive off all DWCRA loans. Have you paid a single rupee under the head? How many A grade DWACRA groups are there today? 3. You promised a job for a family, alternatively Rs 2000 unemployment allowance. How many jobs have you given? How much unemployment allowance you have paid? 4. What has happened to the major promise of Special Category Status? The BJP said 10 years SCS, and you said 15-year SCS? Where does the constitutional guarantee stand today? 5. You said the Polavaram project would be completed in 3 years. Already 2 years have passed. Who is responsible for the completion of the national project? Is it the Centre or the State? 6. Are you not concealing the revised estimates of income and expenditure? Is it not true that the Centre had dubbed the growth rate you are quoting as bogus? 7. The erstwhile YSR goverenment had readily agreed to the demands of CBI inquiry wanted by you. Because of the inquiries, the outer ring road project continued and Airport work did not stop. When the YCP is demanding CBI inquiries into Pattiseema, Capital Amaravati lands, Amareshwar temple lands, subsidies for industries and land allotments, why is your government cringing? Are you prepared for a CBI inquiry into your son, Lokesh, who had been dubbed `Mr Suitcase' in the AP government? 8. You have not been able to fulfill a single good welfare programme. At the same time, and that is why, is it not true that you are buying YCP MLAs at Rs 30 crore to Rs 40 crore? 9. Have you not degraded the respect due for the assembly by such actions as... By changing the upper cloth of members (defections), buying off MLAs and by not disqualifying them, depriving the whip facility for the opposition, and by denying voting on the Appropriation Bill, and by disqualifying members for asking questions? Have you not degraded the dignity of the House? 10. When you have been caught in the vote-for-note case and the Telangana government had not mentioned your name in the case, and not even called you for an investigation, have you not mortgaged Krishna-Godavari waters to Telangana? On the same issue did you not deprive yourself the right of SCS? Have you not mortgaged the status to the Centre? Satyanarayana demanded answers to his 10 questions from the Babu government.
