All four unanimously elected to Rajya Sabha from AP
All the four candidates who have filed their nominations to the Rajya Sabha from the Andhra Pradesh Assembly have been unanimously elected. The candidates are Suresh Prabhu, Railway Minister, Sujana Chowdary, Union Minister for Science and Technology, T.G. Venkatesh and Viajay Sai Reddy. While the three elected members arrived on Friday afternoon along with AP Ministers to receive the necessary papers from the Returning Officer, Vijay Sai Reddy (YCP) was conspicuous by his absence. He is expected to arrive at the assembly either in the evening or tomorrow to receive the papers. Earlier, the candidates were declared unanimously elected as the time for withdrawals was over and only four candidates remained in the fray. Suresh Prabhu assured the people of Andhra Pradesh that he would do as much as possible for them. He was leaving for Vijayawada in the evening.
