HPCL donates ambulance to Red Cross in Hyderabad

Hyderabad, May 23: Information Systems Centre, Hyderabad of Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Ltd. (HPCL), as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), donated A/c Tata Winger Ambulance to Messrs Red Cross Blood bank, Vidyanagar of Indian Red Cross Society, Telangana State Branch here on Monday. D N Vijayendra Kumar, general manager of Information Systems, HPCL, handed over vehicle keys to Indian Red Cross Society general secretary. The Ambulance will be used by the Red Cross to transport blood collected from blood donation camps across the State to Red Cross, majority of which will be used for children affected with Thalassemia decease, free of cost. Speaking on the occasion, Vijayendra Kumar said various CSR activities which HPCL has been doing were for the benefit of society. P Sadu Sunder, Jalluri Jayaraj, K Madan Mohan Rao, A Koti Reddy, Dr Raghava Reddy, Dr Pitchi Reddy and others were present on the occasion.
