AP to release EAMCET medical results on Saturday

Andhra Pradesh EAMCET Medical stream results would be declared in the presence of Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu on Saturday, Minister Ganta Srinivas Rao announced on Friday. The Chief Minister would release the results, he added. Ganta said that AP had brought in much pressure on the Centre to postpone the NEET entrance tests for higher medical education. The Central Ordinance postponing the tests is a good augury for the Telugu States. This would bring in a lot of relief for the students of the two States. He was particularly happy about the postponing of the NEET. The Supreme Court had ruled that NEET would start this year. As a result, the private medical education lobby brought in a lot of pressure on the Centre. It had issued an ordinance on Friday morning postponing all-India medical exams.
