Chandrababu Naidu to meet Modi on May 17

Vijayawada, May 14: Amid controversies and mounting pressure from the Opposition parties on the issue of special status to Andhra Pradesh, Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu is likely to visit Delhi to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi. State finance minister Yanamala Ramakrishnudu said the Centre should help the State till it developed on par with other States. Chief Minister Naidu would meet Narendra Modi on May 17 and discuss the issue of special status to the State. Yanamala alleged that some people were spreading false information on the relations of BJP and TDP. “We have been demanding special status and funds for the State and the Centre also responding to our appeals”, he said.
