Where's food for using toilets, Red Achutanandan asks

Communist leader VS Achutanandan has made the strange statement that when there's no food on the table, what's the point in constructing toilets all over. Achutanandan was reacting to the Prime Minister Narendra Modi's frequent statements on Swach Bharat and construction of toilets in villages. These Prime Minister's statements during his Kerala campaign had caused him head-ache, the communist leader said. He said the fact that there was no food should be recognized first. He told a TV channel that the Prime Minister was talking day in and day out on toilets. The comparison of Kerala with Somalia in regard to child deaths had angered many Kerala leaders. Controversy over this statement, too, could be dragged.
