Devotees to get free snacks on Tirumala
Along with annadanam (feeding of devotees), the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams on Wednesday formally launched a programme to serve snacks to the devotees at the same Annaprasada Bhavan at Tirumala. Executive Officer of the TTD Sambasiva Rao formally launched the programme. Snacks would be served at the bhavan every day from 9 am to 11 am and from 7 pm to 11 pm. The programme had been launched owing to the summer heat, when the devotees may not like to have a full meal but would make do with snacks. Officials of the TTD Chenchulaxmi and GLN Sastry also participated in the programme.
