Culprits behind Tuni Kapu Garjana violence identified

The culprits behind the Kapu Garjana violence towards January-end have been identified and their arrests are slated in the next few days, according to government sources. The identities of the culprits were confirmed on the basis of CCTV footage, call data and the places where the Kapu leaders stayed in Tuni on that day. Large-scale violence broke out in the wake of Kapu Garjana meeting in Tuni wherein the passing Ratnachal Express was stopped and the entire train was gutted by fire. Besides, two police stations were attacked and the policemen were beaten, severely injuring some of them. The TDP government ordered a comprehensive inquiry into the incidents. The CBCID was pressed in for the purpose. The fact of some political leaders' hand behind the violence is also stated to be established during the inquiry. After receiving the CBCID report, the government is getting ready to effect arrests in connection with the Tuni violence.
