YCP's Chand Basha, too, joins ruling TDP

Chand Basha, YCP MLA, on Saturday joined the ruling TDP, raising the strength of his party's defectors to 13. The Kadiri, Anantpur, MLA arrived in Vijayawada with a large number of his supporters. He joined the TDP in the presence of TDP president and Cheif Minister, Candrababu Naidu. Chand Basha left Kadiri on Friday night and arrived in Vijayawada on Saturday morning. He went straight to the Chief Minister's residence. They discussed matters for some time and he formally joined the ruling party at the Chief Minister's residence itself. Chand Basha had made it known quite some time ago that he would be joining the TDP, even as he was saying that his approach to the TDP leaders was on account of issues connected with his constituency. .
