Suresh Prabhu got down from a car in his convoy and boarded a local train in Mumbai.

Suresh Prabhu went to Mumbai to lay a foundation stone for a foot over bridge near Curray railway station in the city. When he was going to the function, he suddenly boarded a train to Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus (CST) Station thinking that road travel might take time. The passengers had to surprise when they suddenly saw none other than the union railway minister beside them in the train. Suresh Prabhu sought their suggestions for providing better facilities for them in railways. He also tried to know their problems. He stood all along his journey in the train and politely rejected the offer of seat by a passenger. In the train, one passenger gave wedding invitation of one of his family members which the minister accepted with a smile. It is the second time for Suresh Prabhu to travel in a local train.
