Roja gets relief in Supreme Court
Film actress and YSRCP MLA Roja got some relief in Supreme Court on Friday. The court ordered to allow her into YSRCP office in the state assembly. Earlier, Roja's advocate Indira Jaisingh submitted the judge a copy of the letter in which Roja rendered apology to assembly speaker. Adjourning the matter to the first week of August, the court asked the speaker to take a decision based on the letter. It also advised the speaker not to drag the matter further. In her letter to Speaker Kodela Sivaprasad Rao, Roja said that she never abused anybody intentionally. She submitted the Supreme Court a copy of her letter to speaker. In the letter, she said that she is taking back the comments she made earlier. In the letter, she said that some members provocated her and made some comments on her personal life too. The legislator explained that she had to make the comments in those circumstances only. She clarified that she never commented any MLA and said that the same letter was sent to the office of the speaker.
