IIT students make Parody of Arranged Marriage
The IIT Madras students have made a Parody of Arranged Marriages. The video has gone viral and is making waves on Youtube. In the simple video, a middle-aged women seeks alliances for her son. Dressed in a red sari and matching blouse, the woman in spectacles talks big about her family wealth, having two Mercedes cars and modern kitchen and so on. She wants the prospective daughter-in-law to be confined to the house and make her son happy in all respects. The daughter-in-law should be good at household chores and must be interested in making babies. After fulfilling all the duties of the dutiful bahu, the lucky girl could think of a job, but part-time only. The prospective girls' parents could ring up the woman for an alliance.
