YCP files no-trust move against TDP Govt

Despite knowing that they would lose, the YCP opposition in the AP Assembly on Thursday filed a no-confidence motion against the Chandrababu Naidu government. The no-confidence motion was filed with the Assembly Secretary this morning. The no-confidence move was made in accordance with the earlier decision to file one. They YCP is under no illusion that it will be carried by the House. But it will give an opportunity to continue its tirade against the Chandrababu Naidu government which has much to account for. The issues facing the House include Special Status for Andhra Pradesh, as proposed in the AP Reorganisation Act, taking up of the Polavaram project on which the government is dilly dallying by bringing in the Pattiseema, the purchase of lands in the Capital Amaravati region and making a fast buck out of it by TDP leaders, which YCP leader called Insider Trading. With so much at stake, the YCP would not give up the opportunity, although it would not be able to shake up things, it could at least present the problems facing the State before the people. Jaganmohan Reddy has already demonstrated that he is prepared with all the facts and figures and singlehandedly take on government representatives who base their arguments more on rhetoric than fact.
