Days of women taking dowry are here: CM

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu predicted in the State Assembly on Tuesday that the coming days are for women. In future, women were going to take dowry as against the practice now. Opening the debate on International Women's Day celebrations, Chandrababu greeted the women and said they were on a par with men in the State at 49.8% population. But then the women's strength was coming down. This would enable them to get dowry in return. Besides, the women were showing their mettle in all fields. The Chief Minister noted that the seed for equality for women was sown by TDP founder, NT Rama Rao. He said women would be given encouragement to excel in all fields.
