We've bridged the trust deficit of UPA: Finance Minister

Finance Minister Arun Jailtley presented the annual budget 2016-17 in the Lok Sabha on Monday amidst some expectation. `I'm presenting the budget when the glboal economy is in a serious crisis. Financial markets have been battered. GDP growth accelerated to 7.4%. Jaitley: `We have bridged the trust deficit created by the previous government. We converted the challenge into an opportunity. `Our forex reserves are at the highest level. Consumer Price Index inflation has come down to 5.4% under our government, despite two poor monsoons.' Alleviating rural and agricultural distress, encouraging entrepreneurship through Startup India, focus on infrastructure and Make in India - Budget 2016 is likely to be a 'game-changer' from the Finance Minister.
