SP woman leader thrashes & fractures SI's leg
UP beats Bihar for the status of jungle raj. As long as Samajwadi Party is in power, its leaders, including women, could do anything and get away. In the latest incident, the son of a Samajwadi Party leader, Sangita Raul, was stopped for drunken driving at a checkpost in Meerut. Having been informed that her son was held up at the checkpost for drunken driving, Sangita was enraged and went to the police station and held the sub-inspector, Sarvesh Kumar, by the collar and gave him such a brutal thrashing that the sturdy, strapping young fellow's leg was fractured. Mother Sangita must have tripped the sub-inspector so badly that he was injured in the leg. Sangita then signed off with a warning to the sub-inspector that he dare not touch her son again. When the matter was conveyed to the top police, the machinery moved in and sent the sub-inspector to the hospital in an ambulance and then summoned the SP leader to the police station where her movements were being watched by a woman police officer. Having been summoned, the daring Sangita was seen mumbling, obviously about the affront to her son.
