No question of joining BJP, says Chiranjeevi

Megastar Chiranjeevi, Congress MP, has ruled out his joining the BJP. He in fact appealed to the media not to speculate about his leaving the Congress. He would be with the party as long as he was there in politics. Participating in three new temples construction at Film Nagar, Hyderabad, Chiranjeevi had at one stage become angry over the continuing speculation by the media. Social media were particularly rife with the speculation. There was no question of his changing the party at all. The whole thing started with his tour of his native Mogaltur and adopted village Perupalem, when the speculation began that he was about to join the BJP. Chiranjeevi emphatically said he would last in the Congress. The Megastar, who started the Praja Party on the strength of his Kapu community, had had to merge his party into the Congress.
