Operation A(P)karsh on YCP underway
While the TDP leaders were creating a hype that with one gesture all the YCP leaders would flock to the ruling party, Jagan Party leader Mohan Reddy for the first time reacted on Saturday, saying none from his party was knocking at Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu's doors. Mohan Reddy regretted that the media was coming out with unconfirmed stories. If they had some information with them, the media could ask for a clarification without rushing though with a story. This was because the people were getting perturbed by the media stories. As an example, Mohan Reddy pointed to the scrolling by a TV channel that YCP chief Jaganmohan Reddy had made a certain remark, which he had not made. At the other end, the TDP was on a high. Deputy Chief Minister Nimmakayala Chinarajappa commented that just a gesture was required from Chandrababu that all YCP leaders would flock to the TDP. Chinarajappa alleged that the YCP leaders were fed up with Jagan. They are in touch with the TDP leaders and would like to jump into the bandwagon. At the same time, the TDP would welcome the YCP leaders. It appears the TDP in AP is learning from Operation Akarsh in Telangana of the ruling TRS which had made almost all the TDP leaders in Telangana jump the party and join the bandwagon.
