The website message said: Since 6 in the morning, we have been getting bookings at the rate of 600,000 per second. Our servers cannot withstand such demand. Therefore, we cannot register the bookings. The lack of server capacity is regretted. The netizens have since learnt that 600,000 hits per second for 2 hours is a record. Only some e-commerce sites, TTD online tickets, railway reservation during holidays and Inter results alone had witnessed 500,000 to 700,000 hits for a few minutes only. Freedom-251 beats them all by selling cell phones online for Rs.251 only. The Freedom-251 requests 24-hour time to set the servers right.
