Nobel Peace Prize for Sri Sri Ravi Shankar

Spiritual leader Sri Sri Ravi Shankar is in the race for Nobel Peace prize, it is learnt. Sri Sri has come into world prominence following his successfully arranging for peace talks between leftist FARC (Revolutionary Armed Forces of Columbia) and the government there. Many other world leaders figuring in the paving for the talks are also said to be in the race for the Peace Prize. FARC methods have claimed over 200,000 lives in Columbia since 1964. Some six million people have been affected by FARC violence. After Sri Sri intervened, FARC revolutionaries have given up their warpath and have adopted Gandhian methods of resolution of disputes. Renowned whistle blower Edward Snowden, who is living as an exile in Russia, is also said to be in the race for the Peace Prize.
