Shabbir Ali gunman remained mute witness during attack

Telangana Congress leader Shabbir Ali on Wednesday alleged that his gunman was a mute witness to the severe beating he had received in Old City from AIMIM party workers on the completion of GHMC polls yessterday evening. The security guard was simply sitting in the front seat of the car, while MIM workers rained blows on him, injuring him seriously in the eye. In a letter to the Intelligence Security wing, Shabbir said the security guard did not even bother to get down from the car while the MIM workers went on the rampage. He remained a mute witness throughout the incident. He requested the Intelligence wing to upgrade his security owing to the incident. A couple of years ago, MIM MLA Akbaruddin Owaisi was beaten and stabbed by a local gang leader in Old City and he survived after a valiant struggle for life.
