Mudragada warns of fast-unto-death on Kapu issue

In case the AP government takes no positive decision on the Kapus' reservation issue, Kapu Supremo Mudragada Padmanabham said he along with his wife would go on a fast-unto-death from Friday. Talking to a TV channel as the Kapu issue hotted up, Padmanabham said he had had enough in life. He wanted to do something good to his community. That was why he was preparing to go on indefinite fast with his wife. He said he was prepared for anything for the sake of his Kapu community. It was also the reason why the Kapus were with him. Neither power nor money were important to him. He wanted to help out the Kapus. That was why he was demanding reservations for his community. He said the Kapus had no role in Tuni violence, and blamed the government itself for the unfortunate happenings.
