AAP media campaigns cost exchequer dear

The common man government of Aam Admi Party in Delhi is living upto its anarchist roots by splurging money on information and publicity. The Aam Admi government has drawn up a budget of Rs.526 crore for Information and Publicity. Of this, Rs.60 crore has been spent on various campaigns taken up by the party so far. Reflecting its young, aggressive nature, the Aam Admi campaigns are also very aggressive. For the odd-even number plate plan, Rs. 2 cr has been spent. The government is running campaign after campaign at the cost of the public, in the name of the public, but for its own benefit. All the money is being spent in the name of taking party programmes to the people. The government is using the press, TV, radio, hoardings and every available means to spread its word. It is further going to come out with its achievements in the last one year through information and publicity means. The opposition BJP alleges that AAP is simply making mountain out of a molehill of progress.
