Prime Minister Narendra Modi's chest expands and contracts, according to the need. Modi has become famous for his 56-inch chest. It expands as he breathes in problems taking them as his own and contracts as he breathes out solutions. The simple trick has so far foxed many political parties, particularly Rahul Gandhi, Congress Vice-President, who could not believe Prime Minister Modi's 56-inch chest measurement. The measure for measure began with applying the Gujarat model of development on India. Samajwadi Party chief Mulayam Singh Yadav, who was a wrestler to begin with, had said Gujarat model for India was impossible because that would require a broad-minded leader who should have a 56-inch chest. The measurement was out in view of the convocation of Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University, when the Prime Minister would be the chief guest. His chest measurement was asked for to stitch up the gown to be worn on the occasion. The university, it appears, is a smart one. Normally the convocation gowns are loose enough to fit all sizes. But they were curious about the correct chest measurement. The Prime Minister's office, without questioning the need, gave the measurements as 50-inch chest and 21-inch arm length. The special golden dress for the Prime Minister is being stitched up by the regular tailor of the Prime Minister in New Delhi. The inquisitive media asked the tailor whether there was any difference in the chest measurements of the Prime Minister before and after he assumed office. The politically conscious tailor said: "No Comments." This leaves media to find room and make hay. Some are already wondering whether the chest measurement was down by 6 inches. One need not be a tailor to understand the simple truths. If you are positive the measurements are clear. One can expand one's chest by breathing in and holding the air in the lungs. Dynamic that he is, Prime Minister Modi can change the chest measurement to suit the need. His chest is also tailor-made. It can expand from 50 to 56 inches and back. His chest measurements are a measure for the occasion. University convocation is something to do with the head. So it's 50. Dealing with development amidst stiff opposition such as on the Goods and Services Bill requires 56-inch chest as Mulayam Singh prescribed. So it will be 56-inch when required.
