Rare planetary pattern attracts scientists

Five planets have come together on the same plane nearly 11 after they appeared so in December 2004. This planetary pattern can be observed for a month. The planets are Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter and Saturn. The planetary pattern will be clearly visible near the North Pole even with the naked eye. The use of binoculars or telescope will be better. One hour before sunrise is an ideal time for the view, say scientists. That is why many scientists are heading for the North Pole for better view of the planetary phenomenon. Such a coming together of the planets is not particularly considered auspicious by the Hindus.
