Boy picks up ball, it blows his hand off
A boy picked up a ball-like object and it blew his hand off. This incident occurred at Adireddypalli in Mydukuru mandal in Kadapa district on Monday. As the boy Prasad's hand was blown off, people standing nearby rushed him to hospital. Yesterday, two country-made bombs went off at Bachchuvaripalem in Prakasam district. Even as the curious people were examining another white object found in the same area, it exploded causing injuries to two people. Whether the bomb culture has returned to Andhra Pradesh is the question. Bombs are used by rival factions in their fights for supremacy in local politics. But why are country-made bombs being strewn all over? The government has to find answers and curb the menace before it goes out of hand.
