When Ayyanapatrudu and Ganta threw punches into thin air

For once the political rivals forgot their nitpicking and got into sparring in the boxing ring. Senior leader and TDP Minister Chintakayala Ayyanapatrudu and newcomer to the party and AP Minister Ganta Srinivasa Rao together entered the boxing ring on the Vizag beach on New Year's Eve, pleasantly surprising the people relaxing there. The surprise was more so in the case of the people in the know of their political rivalry for supremacy in the coastal city. They could hardly recall any instance when the two spoke to each other despite holding key posts in the Cahndrababu Naidu cabinet. So when they entered the boxing ring in all the boxing gear of glouses and all, people thought the two ministers were going for a knock-out over each other. Ayyanapatrudu and Ganta, in the event, did some punching in the air for ceremonial purpose. The Ministers were there to open a boxing competition. While Ayyanapatrudu wore blue glouses, Ganta had red ones. The people of Vizag hope harmless punching will benefit not only their city but also the entire State.They hope the shadow boxing between the two ministers will also end.
