20 Indian students turned back from Chicago

The US Immigration authorities have turned back another 20 Indian students arriving in Chicago to pursue their higher education. The 20 students include Telugu students hailing from Telangana and AP States. As the students landed at Chicago International Airport two days ago, the immigration authorities cancelled their F1 Visas and told them to return to India. Last week, one group of Indian students was turned back from Hyderabad airport itself and another group was deported from Abu Dhabi after much humiliation. The return of the students is causing them much anxiety and their parents are equally concerned. Even as the immigration authorities are saying that the students were bound to join blacklisted universities in the US, the university authorities point to the list to state that they were not on the black list. Together the Immigration and universities are blaming the students themselves for their visa cancellation, saying they are not able to convince the US authorities about their sound financial status or were giving misleading answers.
