Lesser punishment plea for Roja withdrawn: Vishnukumar Raju

Vishnukumar Raju (BJP) has withdrawn his appeal for a lesser punishment for YCP leader R.K. Roja who was suspended by the AP Assembly for 1 year as she indulged in heavy sloganeering and disrupting the House proceedings. Vishnukumar said on Tuesday that he had not realized Roja's grave remarks. But after going through the assembly records, he found 1 year's suspension as fitting. He made the point when the House was discussing Roja's intemperate remarks on TDP MLA Anita.
