HC pats TS for taking steps to curb illegal sand mining in Mahbubnagar

Hyderabad, Nov 30: The Hyderabad High Court today appreciated the Telangana government for taking measures to curb illegal sand mining in Mahbubnagar district. The court's appreciation came during a hearing today on illegal sand mining in the district. During the hearing, the government informed the court that it was receiving complaints through Whatsapp and taking necessary action. In this process, the government said it had arrested 99 persons for indulging in illegal sand mining in the district.
