Police issue red alert on Chintu in Chittoor Mayor murder case
Hyderabad, Nov 19: As part of their investigation in the brutal murder of Chittoor Mayor Katari Anuradha and her husband TDP leader Katari Mohan, local police have now turned their attention onto the murdered couple's nephew and one of the accused Chandrasekhar, alias Chintu. Chittoor police have issued a red alert on Chintu and sent letters to Chennai, Mumbai, Bengaluru and Hyderabad airport authorities requesting them not to allow Chintu to fly out of the country. Chintu, who is a marine engineer, is the son of katari Mohan's sister's son. He earlier worked as an engineer in companies located in Chennai and Mumbai. Attempt to murder cases had also been registered against him in the attacks on former MLA and YSRCP leader CK Babu in 2007. Chintu, who is out on a bail in the case, is operating education institutions and granite businesses and is a resident of Chittoor now.
