BCCI appoints MSK Prasad as national selector
Hyderabad, Nov 9: Among several major decisions taken today Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) at its 86th Annual General Meeting (AGM) replaced senior selector Roger Binny with former Andhra wicketkeeper-batsman Mannava Sri Kanth Prasad, popularly known as MSK Prasad.
The BCCI dropped Roger as a selector due to conflict of interest as his son Stuart Binny is in the Indian team.
The 40-year-old Prasad played 6 Tests and 17 ODIs for India and he is from Andhra Pradesh. Prasad will join the 5-man selection panel headed by Sandeep Patil.
The other senior selectors apart from Prasad and Patil are Vikram Rathore (North Zone), Rajinder Hans (Central Zone) Saba Karim (East Zone).
