Sarita's death: Highlights
Hyderabad, Nov 4: Sircilla Rajaiah's daughter-in-law Sarita and his three grandsons died at his residence in Hanamkonda under mysterious circumstances in the early hours today.
Developments so far:
* Police arrested Rajaiah, his wife Madhavi and son Anil for alleged dowry death.
* Women's organisations stage protest outside Rajaiah's residence.
* Senior police officials probing the case from all angles, including suicide.
* Rajaiah's grand-children identified as seven-year-old Abhinav, and twins Ayaan and Shriyaan (aged three).
* Sarika and her three sons succumbed to burn injuries on the spot.
* An LPG cooking cylinder with its regulator open found in their bedroom.
* Sarika's mother Lalitha and sister Archana alleged that her in-laws "tortured her and killed her".
* Archana says Sarika cannot commit suicide. She was tortured and killed, says Archana.
* At the time of fire incident, Sarika's husband S Anil Kumar, Rajaiah, his wife Madhavi were at home at the time of the incident.
* Anil and his parents live on separate floors of the same house.
* Charred bodies of Sarita and her sons found in a room on the first floor.
* Warangal City Police Commissioner G Sudheer Babu said: "There is still no clarity. FSL (Forensic Science Laboratory) experts are looking into it. Once they complete their examination, we can say something. We are investigating from all angles."
* In April 2014, Sarita filed a criminal case against Rajaiah, his wife Madhavi, son S Anil Kumar and another woman, at the Begumpet women's police station in Hyderabad.
* Sarika alleged her husband and in-laws were harassing her for dowry.
* At that time, Sarika staged a sit-in protest outside Rajaiah's house.
