Fire guts sugarcane crop near Thullur, police investigating

Hyderabad, Oct 23: Sugarcane crop spread across five acres of land near Thullur under capital region was gutted in fire late last night under suspicious circumstances. Police are investigating the issue. The farm land belongs to a farmer identified as Chandrasekhar of Mallapur village under Thullur mandal within capital city region. The farm land is located very close to the location where Amaravati's foundation stone was laid. It may be recalled that in the past too during the land pooling stage crops in several farm lands were gutted.
