Comedian Mada Venkateswara Rao admitted to Apollo Hospital

Hyderabad, Oct 14: Popular Telugu film comedian and actor Mada Venkateswara Rao (65) is said to have been admitted to Apollo Hospital here following brain strike today. Sources said, he is at present receiving treatment in the ICU ward of the hospital in Hyderabad. The 65-year-old Venkateswara Rao, who hails from Kadiyam mandal of East Godavari district, worked in the electricity department before coming into the film industry. He acted in several stage dramas. Some of the films in which he earned fame include 'Mutyala Muggu', 'Chillara Kottu Chittemma', 'Lambadolla Ramdasu' 'Mayadari malligadu', 'Sakhiya' and 'Siviah'. He gained fame with the song 'Choodu Chinnamma . . .' He excelled in social, historical and folk movies.
