Ongole, Oct 11: Police today arrested YSRCP MLA Gottipati Ravi Kumar for taking out a bike rally without permission. Gottipati Ravi Kumar represents Addanki Assembly constituency in the district. The MLA along with his supporters organised a bike rally and 'Vanta Varpu' programme at Puttavaripalem in Santhamaguluru mandal to express solidarity with Jagan who has launched indefinite strike for special status to AP. The MLA was shifted to a police station when the reports last came in. YSRCP leaders alleged that government was using police to suppress the movement. YSRCP activists across the state are staging protests seeking special status to AP.
