Take up dairy, poultry farming, Chandrababu tells farmers

Vijayawada, Oct 09: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu asked the farmers to take up auxiliary activities like dairy and poultry farming to earn additional income. He was speaking at a programme held to mark World Egg Day at PB Siddhartha College in Vijayawada today. The CM stressed the need to step up research on egg products and to encourage food products made with eggs. The CM said that farmers should supplement their income with poultry and dairy farming as profits from agriculture are declining with each passing day. The CM reminded that AP stands second in the country in poultry sector.
