Bahubali figures in a question paper on civil engineering

Hyderabad, Oct 8: Baahubali and civil engineering exams. One may wonder what could be the link between the two. Apparently, the record-breaking period-fantasy movie is said to have figured in the question paper of the internal examination of an institute in Tamil Nadu. Last August, it appears, there was a question in the structural analysis question paper in the civil engineering department of VIT, Vellore. Students were surprised with the question on the designing of a set-piece for the war scene in the film's climax. An assistant professor of the VIT, who had set the paper, said the idea was to help the students enjoy the learning process. The question carried 20 marks. In he question, the students were asked to design the set for optimum structural stability and ensure the safety of the actors. The professor said that most of his questions are application-based making the student to think.
