Arrest warrant issued against Akbaruddin Owaisi
Hyderabad, Oct 7: Kishanganj police today issued an arrest warrant against All India Majlis-e-Ittehad-ul Muslimeen (AIMIM) leader Akbaruddin Owaisi for making derogatory remarks against prime Minister Narendra Modi and inflammatory speech at an election rally in Bihar, reports said. An FIR has been lodged under sections 153A and 188 of IPC was registered against Akbaruddin Owaisi on October 5, police said. Reacting to this news, Akbaruddin's elder brother and AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi said, "Our team of lawyers are looking into the matter and we have asked for the certified copy of the FIR."
