SC postpones Krishna river water row hearing to Oct 15

Hyderabad, Sept 30: The Supreme Court Of India today postponed the hearing in the Krishna river water dispute to October 15, sources said. The Supreme Court bench comprising Justices Deepak Mishra and Prafulla C Pant said they would hear the arguments on October 15. The SC bench also said it would also take a decision on the rules and regulation listed out in the Act on the issue of reviving the Krishna Water Disputes Tribunal (KWDT). The bench also said it would take a decision on whether Krishna river waters should be divided between four neighbouring states or just between Andhra Pradesh and Telangana on October 15.
