Attack on Tehsildar Vanajakshi: Sharma panel begins probe

Hyderabad, Sept 24: The Sharma Committee has today began its investigation into the attack on Musunuru Tehsildar (MRO) Vanajakshi by DWRCA women who are supported by Denduluru MLA Chintamaneni Prabhakar It may be recalled the DWRCA women had attacked Vanajakshi when the latter tried to prevent them from transporting sand illegally on the West Godavari and Krishna district border in the second week of July. The Sharma Committee is gathering information on the attack that took place in Tammileru Vaagu near Ramgampeta.
