Rare 'harvest supermoon' eclipse on Sept 27/28

Hyderabad, Sept 21: A total eclipse of the moon, known as 'harvest supermoon' eclipse, is expected to occur on the intervening night of September 27 and 28. For 1 hour and 12 minutes, the eclipse of this blood moon will begin on the evening of September 27 and it will be visible across countries the US, Canada, and Central and South America. The eclipse will start on September 28 across Europe, South/East Asia, Africa, the Arctic, and in the Pacific, Atlantic, and Indian Oceans. During the eclipse, the moon will be the closest to the earth and this will be the closest supermoon of this year. It happens to be the closest supermoon of 2015. However, this total lunar eclipse will not be visible in Hyderabad.
