Kodela visits British Parliament

London, Sep 11: Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly Speaker Kodela Siva Prasada Rao yesterday visited House of Lords and House of Commons and watched the proceedings. Siva Prasada Rao interacted with Labour MP Veerender Sharma and others in the UK Parliament. He interacted with members of Telugu Associations and NRIs at Birmingham. The Speaker asked them to invest in Amaravati, upcoming capital city of Andhra Pradesh. Kodela appealed to them to adopt villages and to participate in Swachh Andhra Pradesh programme. In Bristol, the Speaker presided over meeting on 'Role of UK in development of Smart Cities in India'. Later, he attended a party hosted by Indian Embassy and visited Lord Venkateswara Swamy temple at Birmingham. Forest Minister Bojjala Gopalakrishna Reddy and others accompanied him.
