Shots fired at accountant in Hyd

Hyderabad, Sep 09: Three unidentified persons reportedly fired shots at a person near Ushodaya Towers in Jeedimetla late on Tuesday night. The accused snatched a bag from the victim and fled away. On hearing the firing, locals rushed to the spot and chased the accused, but in vain. Police registered a case on the basis of a complaint lodged by the victim and took up investigation. The victim is identified as Raghu Sharma. Raghu Sharma works as an accountant and the incident happened while he was returning to his house in Ushodaya Towers. The accused injured Raghu with an iron rod. As a passer by resisted the attack, the accused reportedly resorting to firing. Raghu Sharma is undergoing treatment at a hospital and his condition is said to be stable. Police recovered a bullet from the crime spot.
